Beef 2018: CQ Awards of Excellence launched

Beef Australia are proud to ask the meals service business within the Central Queensland space to take part within the Central Queensland Awards of Excellence Competition for Beef Australia 2018.

The Australian Beef Industry is exclusive on the planet market with its clear, inexperienced high quality techniques.  

The Central Queensland Awards of Excellence competitors will convey the eating places and cafes of Central Queensland district to the forefront by demonstrating the flavour and flexibility of the best meat on the earth.

The competitors provides every Venue the chance to showcase the expertise and keenness of native cooks, employees and enterprise house owners to symbolize Beef Australia 2018, as Award winners, a title they may maintain for three years.

May 2018 will deliver International visitors, World class Chefs, Media, producers and lovers of Australian Beef to Rockhampton –  which is the Ultimate alternative for Establishments to point out World why Rocky is the Beef Capital of Australia.

Businesses are invited to appoint in a single or all 4 classes to showcase Australian beef on their menu.   

Entries can be opening on the 19th Feb and shutting on the 16th March 2018

During the months of March and April 2018, judges will randomly dine at every competitor’s outlet and order the nominated beef dish.  Entries shall be judged in accordance with the next classes and standards.

Entry Class

  • A la Carte Café/Restaurant
  • Pubs and Clubs
  • Cafes/Takeaways

There are 4 classes together with:

  • Best Steak
  • Best Beef signature dish
  • Best low and sluggish beef dish
  • Best Beef pie/burger
